my favorite places are often coffeeshops and bookstores. i love tradition as long as it helps us move ahead rather than hold us behind. i hate when people clap for things that cannot receive that gratitude (like a movie theather screen). i believe a single person can drastically change the world- just look at Jesus. i care deeply about the environment, social justice, and hurting people. i fall so desperately short each and every day- but i try to believe in the grace i’m told i’ve been given. i believe that your beliefs and faith should be absolutely reflected in the way you live your life. i wish i could wear my flip-flops year-round but tragically i live in the midwest. i am crazy in love with my husband- he is the best person i know and my favorite person in the whole world (good thing i married him!) i love love love to read and learn. i don’t like owning a lot of stuff with the exception of books- i want a whole library of them. i care deeply about the Church, sometimes worry about it, and often wonder if i’ll ever find my place in it. i am trying to follow jesus.

i long with my deepest being to see people follow Christ, not just believe in him, and in becoming like him see them begin to transform and redeem this world

Jesus looked at him and loved him. “One thing you lack,” he said. “Go, sell everything you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.” -Mark 10:21
