Top Ten Humanitarian Crisis of 2008

The “Top Ten Humanitarian Crisis of 2008” has been released by Doctors Without Borders. Countries in crisis include Somalia, Myanmar, Zimbabwe, Democratic Republic of Congo, Ethiopia, Pakistan, Sudan, and Iraq.

I don’t want to end this year on a sad note, but as we celebrate the beginning of a new year and look forward to our hopes, dreams, and resolutions for another year, let us remember that we have a lot of work to do this year. We live in a broken world, full of crisis, violence, and pain that many of us cannot even imagine. Let us resolve to both pray and act on behalf of those most in need in our world.
